| Skills are things you use outside of battle instead of inside of battle, A list of what each skill placement is, is listed below.
Constitution:
Power: Physical things like Lifting, Jumping, Crawling, Pushing, and otherwise are here.
Knowledge: Computer arts, along with other forms of things.
Speed: things involving quick moving, and Silent moving, and otherwise.
Perception: How open you are, and how perceptive your your surroundings
Luck: How luck you are obviously.
Well, How do I know what to roll?
Rolling is not too hard you simply roll the stat associated with the talent, and use the level of the talent as a modifier.
As an example let's say you have 30 power and lvl 2 jumping, your roll would be d30+2
How do I raise my level?
Raising the level of a skill talent is rather easy. There are two parts to it though that you must complete before you can level it however. First you must acquire enough 'uses', which could change between different skill talents'. After getting enough 'uses' you have to pay the proper SP cost, and you will be able to level up the Skill Talent.
Also with all skills their SP cost increases by 5 SP every odd level past level 1(3 5 7 ect)
How many Skills may I have?
There is no specific number of skills you start with. You are given a value in SP and you can spend it however you chose.
How do I learn skills
You don't have to worry about learning the first skills when you create your character, but afterwards you will have to go through the learning process. There are two different ways to learn a skill neither of which is too hard, but they're not just about spending points either.
The first way is through researching the skill you want to learn. To do this you simply have to but for the time and effort to actually do research. If you succeed in researching the basic knowledge of the skill and have the SP when doing it, you can learn the skill.
The second way to learn a skill is through experience, but this way is actually a little tougher. And only works easily with crafting skills. You can have someone teach you, or you can work alone to try and succeed a skill check for the skill. Like making something, or successfully intimidating someone. If you have the SP when you succeed the roll, you can learn the skill. | |
